nearing the end of the mini-break

My friend Danyall is visiting from the US so yes, I've been MIA from the old blog. Should have lots of posts about our time together- including an 8 am superbowl party, my first trip to the top of Taipei 101, her first time riding a scooter and the mayhem that ensued, sweating in the south of the island and freezing in the north... lots of fun and I'll be catching up on lots of sleep soon, I hope!
