Kids these days....

So I'm teaching Social Studies, explaining to the students that we'll go to the library to research a country in Africa. "You'll use the encyclopedias," I said.
"Teacher, what's an encyclopedia?"
So I started to explain it, and eventually one of the students broke in: "Like Wikipedia, but a book!"

Yeah.

(They did think encyclopedias are really cool, after I taught them how to use them. Now they spend their breaktimes looking up "funny" words like gorilla and peanut.)
