Making my Day

There are breakfast shops all over- most sell eggs and sandwiches. There are a couple of places with good sandwiches but they're not really breakfast food as I concieve it. Anyways, on my way home from service I saw one was still open and stopped to get a sandwich- actually a pita! It was a family operation and they were so happy and excited that I had come there. They said, "You're the first foreigner who's ever come here!" They were just all smiles and gave me a free drink and complemented my Chinese. For some reason it just made my day.

Then I went for a long bike ride and passed two guys on a big hill. Icing on the cake. :)
