Typhoons

They have started. I was excited when the first one was predicted because if work gets cancelled I get paid! For the first one but none after that. The first one didn't amount to much- just some drizzle although I guess it was worse elsewhere on the island.

The second one is here now- not too bad here either, just very rainy. I guess it passed over the island and picked up water in the Taiwan Straight and came back to give it to us again.

I saw the Simpsons movie with Chinese subtitles. Everyone laughed at different things than I did.
